The FBCESD 7 Board of Commissioners would like to also reiterate for residents: streets are meant to be additional water conveyance methods when the amount of rainfall exceeds the storm drain and detention capacities. Residents should not drive into or through deep water, per the NOAA, TDEM, and FEMA guidance of “Turn Around, Don’t Drown”. If you are using a gas-powered generator, ensure it is kept outside the house and garage to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning. Stay informed through your trusted news providers and make sure your emergency kits are fully stocked and ready. Stay safe!
